On 16th March 2020 the Manx Government announced that all persons arriving into the Isle of Man, regardless of whether or not they are presenting any symptoms of Coronavirus, must to go into a period of self-isolation for 14 days.

Due to both the financial and operational implications of this announcement, Isle of Man Rent a Car have no alternative other than to limit our office hours until such time as the government reduces the threat level and lifts the imposed restrictions.

To that end, with immediate effect, our offices will be manned for limited periods on a Monday to Friday between the hours of 0900 - 1200, during which time we will be accepting/handling returns and processing customer queries, we will not be operating on weekends.

Our email system will be monitored remotely and we will do our very best to respond as promptly as possible, please however respect that this will be handled from our employees homes and there could be some delays in our responses, to that end we would ask that you kindly bear with us. Be advised that our telephones lines will not be manned outside of these times.

This is a dynamic situation that we continue to monitor and will be making the best decisions for both our customers and employees, based on the available government advice. Please remember that the person that answers the phone, or responds to your email is doing their best to assist you with your query and be polite and understanding.
